Hong Kong bus rolls over kills 1 and injured 34 people

This morning there was a serious accident in Cheung Kwan O, Hong Kong, a double decked bus suspected of excessive speed lost control and overturned, the upper compartment was pressured against the curb on the slide, causing one death and 34 people injured. A 17 year-old girl died and several others dying, the police were still investigating the accident.

The accident occurred at midnight this morning , the bus carrying more than thirty passengers, as the accident happened very suddenly passengers was not able to take any precautions, almost everyone was injured and ended with tragic screams of chaos. The police was anxious when they received a report , with firemen and rescue workers they rushed to the rescue. Those with minor injuries climbed out and sat by the roadside waiting for assistance. A number of people were seriously injured and unconscious. One man sustain head injuries, the left eye protruding outward. While others injured had bleeding hands and feet injuries.

As there was a lot of people injured, the Fire Department deployed more than 10 ambulances from different districts to assist in the rescue. Sources at the scene said the dead and a male passenger was covered in blood and had no response when the firemen carried them out.
