TVB new upcoming series “Searching For Lasting Love” had its costume fitting yesterday. Flora Chan returned to the screen after 6 years absence. She is working with Joe Ma again following “Triumph In The Sky” and she is playing the role of an ex “young and dangerous” girl in the series. Mother Flora explained that she comes back to work for TVB, apart from interest, she also wants her one year old daughter to learn to be dependent.
TVB producer and Joe Ma gave Flora a bouquet of flowers and a TV Buddy doll as a welcome gift. Flora said her daughter is over one now and she is very cute and mature for her age. She has been looking after her daughter 24 hours a day, now she wants her daughter to be less dependent on her, that is why she agreed to take part in this new series. The role she plays is new to her, Flora finds that refreshing because in the past, she always acted as a professional. Talking about her fees for the part, Flora said she doesn’t know, she has to ask her manager or the producer. Reporter asked what her expectations are now that she has returned to work? Flora replied that she doesn’t think about it, she can’t predict what is going to happen next. The reporter went on to ask if she wants another baby? Flora said “I do, but I may not be able to have another one, I will try my best. But it will have to be next year because I need a rest after finishing this TV series.”
