Ron Ng at Hunan Television’s TV Festival for new Mainland drama

Today, Hunan Radio and Television station held its 10th Sichuan TV Festival, popular TVB Siu Sang Ron Ng stars in Mainland drama (大丫鬟) which has been a hot favorite. Under the Host’s request, Ron was not afraid of rumors as he reenacted some of the scenes from the drama at the festival with the female lead Ma Ya Shu (馬雅舒) and attracted many fans to surround the two stars. In the drama, Ron drops all his past images to play a man who will do absolutely anything for love. As for Ma Ya Shu, she plays a servant maid who is independent, strong, using her wisdom to start her very own business and happiness. Ron joked and said that his relationship with Ma Ya Shu in the drama is “I love her, She doesn’t love me.”

Performing the scenes live at the festival, Ron and Ma Ya Shu spoke to each other very closely, almost touching one another. Although the audience were not able to hear too well on what they were saying, but they still attracted many fans’ enthusiastic screams. When the reporter asked why their performance was rather ambiguous, Ron smiled and first thanked the reporter, then explained that it is because their performance was more exaggerated. “We have many love scenes in the drama, so when filming we have to perform this ambiguous-ness out.” Ron also said that despite filming in Mainland recently, he is still a TVB artist and will not shift towards the Mainland market. “It’s best to work on both sides, I hope that I could have good performances in both Mainland and TVB.”
